"New" Adams County Land Use Commission

The Adams County Land Use Commission is a group of individuals in the community who have been appointed by the Adams County Board of Commissioners.  The goal of the Land Use Commission is to develop a Comprehensive Land Use Plan for Adams County.

The Comprehensive Land Use Plan will serve as a guide for the Commissioners as they make decisions that effect land use in the County in the coming years. The Plan may also improve the County’s position when making applications for certain grants.

Sheila Maggard, Community Development Educator for Ohio State Univerisity Extension in Adams County is the coordinator for the Adams County Land Use Commission.
