Market heifers and steers will be weighed and tagged as on feed for the Adams County Fair on Saturday, December 3 at the fairgrounds. All project steers (4-H and FFA) must be in the member’s possession by the tag-in date. Again this year, members will be allowed to tag and show three market beef, including one or more in the Adams County Born and Raised Steer Show. Tag-in will run from 8:30-10:00 AM.DNA collection kits will be distributed to those interested in showing market beef at the Ohio State Fair, and OSF EID tags will be used on these animals. All OSF DNA samples are due to the Fair office by January 15.
