The following are results from all Junior Fair events and shows held in conjunction with the 2016 Adams County Fair. They are listed by day/date.

SUNDAY, JULY 10

1st PLACE 4-H FLOAT

The Liberty Classy Clovers 4-H Club had the first place 4-H float again this year in the annual Adams County Fair Parade.

QUEEN CONTEST

Five finalists for the Adams County Junior Fair Queen and her Court were selected in preliminary interviews held in June. The final selection of the Queen and four runners-up took place during the Fair’s Opening Ceremonies on Sunday, July 10.  The Contest was sponsored, in part, by the Adams County Junior Fair Board, First State Bank, C103, and Adams County Florist.

NON-LIVESTOCK PROJECT/ACTIVITY JUDGING RESULTS

Most non-livestock projects were judged at Pre-Fair Judging, held on June 28 at West Union High School. Members enrolled in these projects brought their completed project books and an exhibit or display to the judging and participated in a face-to-face interview with a judge. Pre-fair judging also serves to select Ohio State Fair non-livestock project qualifiers. From July 27 through August 4, many of the Adams County first and second place project winners will compete in similar face-to-face judging at the Ohio State Fair, competing for Outstanding of the Day rosettes and Clock Awards against youth from across Ohio.
